If you are taking one of our Chinese programmes, you can choose to spend your second year either in mainland China or in Taiwan. There you will follow language courses provided by our partners Capital Normal University in Beijing, Tianjin Normal University in Tianjin, Jiao Tong University in Shanghai, or National Chengchi University in Taipei. In addition to intensive language classes and classes on others aspects of Chinese culture, you will be immersed in Chinese society, and have have plentiful opportunities to make friends and improve your Chinese language skills. You will also gain a deeper knowledge of China's long history, rich culture and contemporary scene.
